Rocking Chairs

David's Rocking Chairs are made from domestic hardwoods such as Cherry, Walnut, Maple and Sycamore.  A single board is used to make all of the parts of a chair.  This provides the best color and grain match, however, if prefered, accent or contrasting wood may be used for the headcrest, backbraces or rockers. Pictured above is a 2 inch thick Cherry Board that was used to make one chair.   Before any cutting takes place, templates will be used to make the best use of  features and qualities of the this lumber.

Customizing starts with the chair size; sizes range from extra small to extra large.  Also, the chair can be set back farther for a more reclined position or more upright if you prefer.  These options will be discussed when ordering.

Comfort starts by fitting the chairs to each person and their size.  When you sit in the chair, you will immediately feel the back braces flex and conform to the your back.

The finest hardwoods, the best design, and shaped for the individual add up to the most beautiful, most comfortable rocking chair available today.
