David's Rocking Chairs

Hi and welcome to David's Rocking Chairs.  I am David Elsey, the owner and employee. 

Since I was a teenager, I have been making items out of wood.  When I married and had children, I continued to build and create furniture - from toys to tables and chairs.  As time went on,  projects became more interesting, more challenging and more enjoyable.  It finally became a passion and I am now a full time woodworker. 

Many types of furniture styles have influenced me, Stickley, Queen Anne, Windsor, etc.  Since discovering sculpted Rocking Chairs, I have been enlightened  to many new possibilities, including being able to match and contrast woods, grains and colors into many different shapes and forms.  Working in this medium has inspired me to start my own business and build the best rocking chairs.
